About the Role
Hold Driller’s and Helper’s accountable to ensure they are completing their tasks and their responsibilities are being met.
• Ensure that all pick-up trucks are being maintained and driven properly with respect.
• Proper and respectful communication with all clients, drillers, helpers, and management.
• Conduct a drill inspection twice a day to ensure all expectations are being met and maintained.
• Responsible to maintain and ensure all equipment is being maintained at the drill site.
• Responsible to have an inventory of each drill site location for tools and equipment needed to keep drill operating.
• Ensuring that all equipment is being operated properly by driller and helper and provide leadership and training where needed.
• Hold driller and helper accountable for all damaged equipment on site.
• Investigate all safety incidents in conjunction with management.
• Ensure a picture is taken of the site when each shifts hazard assessment is taken by the driller and helper.
• Train all Driller and Helpers to utilize all forms on Site Docs.
• Supervise and delegate tasks as required to Drillers and Helpers.
Requirements
Ability to work 28-day rotations in remote locations, including exposure to extreme winter and summer conditions.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Solid understanding of drilling operations and equipment handling.
Experience conducting safety inspections and incident investigations.
Familiarity with Site Docs or other safety management platforms.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to train and mentor team members.
Physically capable of performing site duties and equipment inspections.
